JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Filipino Sushi Chef up to 5k Aed for a High-End Casual Dining Restaurant in Dubai
• Creating a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish (for example, salmon, tuna, unagi)
• Preparing all types of sushi
• Selecting fresh fruits and vegetables to make high-quality dishes (including avocado, mango, and carrots)
• Monitoring food stock and place orders, as needed
• Maintaining hygiene principles in all cooking areas and cleaning station at the end of the shift
• Managing food stock and working with attention to detail to fulfill all orders within quality standards
REQUIREMENTS
• POSITION: SUSHI CHEF
• SALARY: up to 5,000 AED full package depending on experience and qualification
• HIRING COMPANY: High-end Casual Dining Restaurant
• WORK LOCATION: The Pointe Mall, The Palm Dubai, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1-month)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to FILIPINO nationals
• Male/Female, below 35 years old
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Culinary Diploma / Certificates or any relevant certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field
• Good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
• Ability to work both fast and accurately
• Has great attention to details and good creativity skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Good communication and leadership skills
