Employment: Full Time

This is a new role for our SME client and the first time a senior individual will be fully responsible for the finance division, as previously the function has been outsourced. However, as the business continues to be highly successful, the time is right to now bring the financial expertise in house.

A highly respected and stable design company based in Dubai this role will report into the Managing Director and be responsible for the complete finance cycle with the support of an Accountant. You will be relied upon to provide a great deal of analysis and commentary to support the senior decision-making process, therefore if you are seeking a finance business partnering role, this could be the right opportunity for you.

Due to the nature of their design business, there are many projects at any 1 time (up to 40 currently) and it is expected that you will have a firm grasp on the finances for all the project’s including feasibility and forecasts, cost control, budget tracking, milestone AR/AP and ROI evaluation. As the most senior finance person in the business, it is imperative that you implement strong controls and monitoring procedures to mitigate risk and of course, meet compliance deadlines for VAT and Corporate Tax. Providing regular monthly and quarterly reporting you will add value to the business with your expert analysis concerning trends, variance, cash flow statements and balance sheets through to P&L and end of year audit.


With clients across the GCC, the business has also just gained their first client in the USA, so this is an exciting time to join this dynamic and confident team. You should posses a proven finance manager work history with regards to project and team management, analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will be degree educated and with additional financial qualifications. Bringing excellent
commercial acumen and strong communication, this is a fantastic role for a dedicated and experienced finance professional.
