JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our dynamic team in the FMCG industry in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for business initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure the organization maintains adequate liquidity.
- Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Maintain and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations that may impact the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (such as ACCA or CPA) is a plus.- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
