Finance Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Quest Search and Selection are looking for a Finance Executive to join a prestigious luxury gourmet food company based in Abu Dhabi.
The Finance Executive will be responsible to manage financial transactions, prepare accurate reports, and support financial decision-making. He / She will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, driving overall financial health and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring spending and variances to optimize budget management.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts, bank statements, and other financial records to maintain data accuracy.
• Tax Compliance: Support in tax calculations, filings, and documentation to ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and drive profitability.
• Audit Support: Assist in preparing documentation and coordinating with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures, mitigating financial risks.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and organize financial records, preparing reports for management as needed.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
• Ideally, experience in the food and beverage (F&B) industry, including vendor management and P&L responsibilities.
• Startup experience in F&B is preferred.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizat ional skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits of this role:
Hybrid working – avg. 3 days in the office in Abu Dhabi

Salary:
AED 12,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
