JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Exciting opportunity for a Russian Speaking Finance Manager to join a new venture and join a leading UK luxury kids interior design company expanding into the UAE Market. As a Financial Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and stability of our organization and ensuring the achievement of the strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Provide financial recommendations to management based on analysis and interpretation of data.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks or opportunities.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
Budget Management:
- Prepare, monitor, and manage the annual budget.
- Control and track expenses within the approved budget.
- Provide guidance and support to department managers in managing their budgets effectively.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow movements and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Implement effective cash flow management strategies to optimize working capital.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Collaborate with external auditors and oversee the preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.
- Implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
Financial Strategy and Decision Support:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Provide financial advice and analysis to guide decision-making on operational activities and investments.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies for new projects and initiatives.
Team Leadership:
- Oversee and manage the finance team, including setting clear objectives, providing guidance, and supporting professional development.
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the finance department.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Financial Manager or similar role, preferably in the interior design or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting regulations, and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and adherence to ethical standards.
- Passion for the kids interior design industry and a desire to contribute to its growth
