A French managed company trading in niche fragrance oils and perfumery packaging solutions based in SAIFZONE Sharjah, seeks to employ a full time Finance Manager. This is a huge scope opportunity for a Finance Manager who wants to grow with an expanding business.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Chart of accounts, finance and reporting systems
a. Maintain accounting systems to support business growth through maintaining & enhancing the current ERP environment
b. Oversee and direct the creation of new databases including chart of accounts, work flow systems and processors.
c. Compliance to legal and statutory regulation - VAT and other taxes that will be imposed.
d. Maintain, design, and modify corporate policies and procedures to meet evolving business requirements.
e. Ensure that statutory Audit is completed on a timely manner.
f. Monthly MIS report to the management

2.: Treasury and cash flow management:
a. Manage relationships with bankers and financial institutions such as entry.
b. Recommend to management on opening and closing of bank accounts and in securing funding for expansion.
c. Cashflow planning and control-ensure that the company has adequate cash flow to meet company 's obligation
d. Manage company 's hedging activities such as FX bookings & exposure
e. Act as company authorised signatory with specific limits

3. Budgetary Controls, Internal controls and risk mitigation
a. Assist management in the formulation of it's overall strategic direction from preparation of budgets, estimates and rolling forecast.
b. Track variance from budgets, report to management the reasons for such variances
c. Provide commercial support, advisory to purchasing/ HR on best practices and compliance matters.
d. Ensure there is subdivision of work, checks and balances to strengthen internal controls.
e. Ensure SAP workflow is continuously monitored and updated to ensure completeness, accuracy and reliability of financial and operating data.
f. Safeguarding company assets, inventory and cash in hand through arranging adequate insurance to mitigate risks.
g. Conduct periodic training and induction sessions to enlighten team and new joinees on the importance of internal controls.

4. Operational & Financial matters
a. Deal with multiple stakeholders from services providers, clients, bankers, business partners on company matters.
b. Oversee the finance personnel - accuracy, completeness and quality of work by providing guidance, training and empowering the team.
c. Ensure operating costs is maintained at an optimal level, recommend to management on any cost curtailment measures.
d. Carry out feasibility studies on any new projects and proposals. Provide commercial inputs to management through financial analysis, benchmarking and comparisons.
e. Provide recommendations on credit risks based on current outstanding.
f. Approval of company payroll
g. Ad hoc reporting to various stakeholders
