JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Develop core financial accounting in line with local & global financial accounting practices, principles & standards (GAAP / IFRS).
• Develop core treasury function supporting business needs.
• Build and develop core GL accounting processes and develop adequate team structure
• Develop & maintain continuous AR AP GL reporting to senior management• Develop routine checks (GL scrutiny) / reports to capture issues in a timely manner and avoid surprises.
• Manage the monthly closing activities of the company accounts.
• Follow guidelines issued for record maintenance. Ensure Audit trails are in place and prepare necessary reports for Revenue Audit on monthly basis.
• Assign clear job responsibilities to all accounting team members.
REQUIREMENTS
• Qualified Accountant (CA or CPA or any other equally creditable professional)
• Experienced in dealing with senior management, internal & external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge & minimum 3 years’ hands on experience in SAP is a must.
• Agriculture . Food, Animal Feed or similar manufacturing industry experience would be an advantage.
• Arabic speaker would be an advantage (but not a must).
• Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience.
• Female Arabic Speaking
