JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced UAE business environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable, receivable, and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.
• Manage bank reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Ensure VAT compliance, filings, and record-keeping in line with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.• Min 1 years of experience in a financial accounting or similar role.
• Professional certification (or part-qualified) such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT laws.
Salary:
AED
10,000 to 12,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
