JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are looking for a bright, switched-on Financial Accountant who has a solid grasp of core accounting principles and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is confident with debits and credits, can take ownership of group consolidations, and is comfortable managing multiple bank accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records, ensuring all transactions are posted correctly with a clear understanding of debits and credits
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards
• Manage group consolidations, ensuring all intercompany transactions, eliminations, and adjustments are properly recorded
• Oversee the reconciliation and management of multiple bank accounts across the group
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
• Analyze the financial performance and position of each business line and develop insights or recommendations
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information, resolve queries, and ensure smooth financial operations
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, drive efficiency, and strengthen internal controls
• Support various ad-hoc financial projects as the business grows
Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting or a similar discipline, with progress towards a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA)• Hands-on experience with group consolidations and intercompany transactions
• Proven ability to manage and reconcile multiple bank accounts
• Strong communication skills with a positive, collaborative approach
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and own tasks from start to finish
Salary:
AED
12,000 to 15,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
