The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts, including bank statements, to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities while providing variance analysis of financial performance against targets.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations in all financial practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for strategic business decisions.
  • Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations relevant to the region and industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
