JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are a dynamic and rapidly growing pharmaceutical company seeking a skilled and experienced Financial/Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing all financial aspects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor and report on financial performance against budget.

Accounting Management:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Implement and maintain internal controls.

Budget Management:
• Prepare and manage the annual budget in collaboration with other departments.
• Monitor budget variances and provide explanations.

Cash Flow Management:
• Manage cash flow and optimize liquidity.
• Forecast and manage working capital requirements.

Financial Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.

Taxation:
• Oversee tax planning and compliance.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns.

Financial Reporting and KPIs:
• Create, write, and report financial statements.
• Develop and maintain financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Operational Optimization:
• Identify and report to upper management areas within the company operations that are still optimizable for more efficient operations.
• Rapidly provide data and information to upper management for any financial decision-making issues and concerns.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA/CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Financial/Accounting Manager, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
