JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

A new opportunity has come up with a large FMCG based company in the UAE. Our client is currently hiring for a Financial Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for the Budgeting, Forecasting, Treasury, Consolidation & business support. You will have interaction with management at all levels within the organization. You will have responsibilities for the financials, period close and reporting and a charter to streamline the associated processes.

To be considered for this job, you need to meet the following requirements:
• Conducting financial analysis functions which includes:
• Revenue and expenses analysis for categories and segments
• Brand Profitability and Gross Margin Analysis for categories and segments
• Variance analysis including PPV, MUV, material and overhead variances
• Working Capital Components, Opex & Capex Analysis and publishing reports
• Conceptualizing & implementing the company annual and mid-year plans, budget and forecast
• Preparation & publishing of financial statements and flash reports for categories and segments
• Preparation of management reports and financial presentations for strategic management
• Decision support analysis for new business/investments such as ROI and Cost Volume Profit (CVP analysis)
• Coordination and consolidation of financial reports and information from business units
• Provide monitoring information, bench marking data, ad-hoc reports and KPI dashboards, etc.
• Coordinating financial closing activities in monthly and year-end accounting process
• Preparing and submission of exceptions and reasoning reports
• Guiding the internal and external auditors for assignments
• Administering the ERP (Microsoft Navision) and reporting tool (TM1-IBM Cognos) for reporting purpose
• Preparing and issuing all financial Statements
• Interface with the external & internal auditors
• Review financial feasibility analysis and budget preparation

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in Big 4 Audit firm will be an added advantage.
• Candidate should be qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Candidate with extensive exposure to Consolidation, IFRS or Treasury background.
• Should have experience in Handling a team.
• Should have experience in working with multicultural environment.
• Should have minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG.
