JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our client is looking for a qualified Financial Controller to be based in their Dubai office.

The Financial Controller will be mainly responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS.
- Assist with month and quarter end closing process, including balance sheet, P/L, cash flow preparation and review, completion of account reconciliations along with month end financial reporting.
- Manage timely preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and financial statements in accordance with corporate guidelines and IFRS.
- Prepare forecasts and budgets as required, including being able to forecast a full P/L, balance sheet, and complete roll forwards of PP&E spending and depreciation, etc.
- Interact with external auditors for internal controls.
- Perform ad hoc reporting and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

- Ideally a qualified accountant with 2-3 yrs experience in Financial Control/Reporting Accountant position.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Arabic and/or French is an advantage.
