The Company

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Controller to their strong finance team in Abu Dhabi. The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's financial stability, overseeing financial operations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our continued growth.

The Role

Financial Planning and Analysis:

* Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
* Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
* Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Financial Reporting:

* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.
* Ensure the integrity of financial data and maintain an organized system for financial records.

Risk Management:

* Monitor and manage financial risks, including market risks, credit risks, and liquidity risks.
* Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's financial health.

Cash Flow Management:

* Oversee cash flow planning and management to meet operational needs and investment objectives.
* Optimize cash utilization and manage working capital efficiently.

Compliance and Audit:

* Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
* Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with auditors.

Team Leadership:

* Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
* Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.

REQUIREMENTS

The Candidate

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, regulatory authorities, and investors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners.
* Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA/CA qualification is a must.
* Proven experience (5+ years) as a Financial Controller or similar role, in the investment or banking industry would only be accepted applicants.
* In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in the UAE.
* Strong analytical, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications.
* Knowledge of Arabic language is advantageous.

Salary and Benefits

AED 45,000 - 55,000 a month + company benefits
