JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
My client, a western owned, Dubai headquartered, business, are searching for a young, ambitious western finance professional who's looking ready to take on their first financial controller position.
- Management of month-end close process ensuring internal close deadlines are met and business performance is properly understood;
- Preparation of monthly financial reports of the Business to tight deadlines for senior business stakeholders;
- Assist in forecasting and management of cash position;
- Preparation of budgets/reforecasts & review of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances;
- Oversight of transaction processing within AR, AP, GL Inventory, Fixed Assets and cash;
- Balance Sheet reconciliations each month
- Management of a small, diverse teams of accoutants
REQUIREMENTS
- Western, qualified accountant with 2-4 years PQE;
- Strong experience in financial controlling;
- Very analytical - able to 'deep dive'' in to the numbers and provide a cogent commentary;
- Ambitious and keen to learn - this business will be adding 300% to their bottom line over the next 5 years.
