The Company
Robert Half are working with a leading local bank, looking to hire a Financial Planning Analyst.
The Role
In this dynamic role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the bank's financial health by meticulously analyzing financial performance, key productivity metrics, and managing budgeting responsibilities.
* Comprehensive Planning: Assist in crafting and maintaining the annual business plan and budget, contributing to the bank's strategic financial roadmap.
* Forecasting Expertise: Contribute to the development and dissemination of periodic forecasts, providing crucial insights for agile decision-making.
* Budget Oversight: Monitor and control periodic budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
* Internal Controls: Uphold stringent internal controls related to planning and budgeting, safeguarding the bank's financial integrity.
* Performance Analysis: Prepare comprehensive actual vs. budget/forecast analysis reports, identifying variances and providing actionable insights.
REQUIREMENTS
The Candidate
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance, demonstrating a strong grasp of financial analysis and planning principles.
* Knowledge Base: Sound understanding of accounting and budgeting principles, coupled with proficiency in MS Office suite.
* Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail and organizational capabilities to manage complex financial data accurately.
* Analytical Skills: Strong communication and analytical skills, enabling effective collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
* Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Preferred: Master's degree with a specialization in finance, such as an MBA in Finance, to deepen strategic financial acumen.
* Preferred professional certifications such as CMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent, showcasing a commitment to continuous professional development and expertise in financial management.
