JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Taylor Sterling is looking for an experienced Finishes Specialist (Painting and Vinyl Finishing) to join a rapidly growing fit-out firm in Dubai. Client is a British owned interior fit-out and furnishing specialist in residential and commercial design and creation. They specialise in whole villa and palace fit-out and refurbishment and have also successfully completed work in offices, shops and other commercial spaces.
Primary job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead Team to achieve departmental productivity and quality goals
- Identify training opportunities and assist employees in their training and development
- Be a resource for employee needs and concerns
- Evaluate and document performance of team members
- Constructively interact with internal and external customers
- Responsible for ensuring proper department housekeeping
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong desire to assist in employees’ growth and willingness to guide their development
- Excellent human relations, communications, and problem solving skills
- Outstanding prior work record and demonstrated participation in Continuous Improvement
- Previous leadership experience desirable
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with direct reports, peers and customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Post high school education strongly preferred
