Fish Farm Feeder cum General Helper

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Fish Farm Feeder Cum General Helper must follow the direction of his / her immediate Supervisor and operates in accordance with the Company Policy.

Responsibilities:

- To Check the diving equipment’s and the spare diving equipment.
- Ensure to Check the diving equipment daily before starting the duty.
- Checking the nets and repair daily and schedule its regular changing.
- To Check the feeding residue daily.
- Ensure checking of the mooring system on weekly basis and to make sure it is in a good condition.
- To Make sure all bridle ropes are fixed properly in the cage.
- Report abnormal fish behavior immediately to the Farm supervisor if is noticed.
- Monthly check to be performed for the demarcation buoy.
- Checking the anchor chain and the rope every month.
- Ensuring all sinker weights are in good condition.
- Inspecting Fish health.
- Any other tasks deemed appropriate by Fish Farm Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements:

- Basic Swimming Skills is a must.
- Knowledge of how to grow and harvest fish or shellfish.
- Practical skills such as being able to tie knots and connect ropes.
- Awareness of health and safety practices.
- Basic mechanical skills .

Salary:
AED 1,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
