Description
We are currently looking to hire a Floor Plan Inspector (HSE) for a short-term contract of 5 months for one of our clients based in Dubai.
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and final reviews of all submitted floor plans.
- Approve the event's floor plan if no noncompliance is found with health and safety rules and regulations.
- Monitor the event setup on site as per the approved floor plan and implement the HSE rules and regulations.
- Prepare a checklist of compliance using the system to confirm it complies with the approved floor plan.
- Conduct site inspections for each approved floor plan in three phases:
Build up
Opening
Tear down - Upload approved event floor plans into the system.
- Generate general inspection reports.
- Prepare reports of noncompliance during site inspections.
- Reconcile the monthly floor plan summary review report.
- Follow up on stand completion status and ensure that the halls are ready for opening.
- Carry out pre-opening checks.
- Implement any other duties as assigned by venues infrastructure and assist in all operations matters.
- Implement duties in line with quality standards, security, and health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in the event industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Computer literacy essential.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, internet, and email.
- Report writing skills.
- IOSH certified.
- NEBOSH I.G.C. certification.
