JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Supervising marine construction activities
• Strict adherence of HSE requirements
• Ensures that approved drawings are used on the site
• Ensuring marine construction is carried out accurately, following plans and specifications
• Co-ordinates with PE/SE & PM for any quality, availability or environment issues on a daily basis
• Allocates work to the charge hands/ technicians, as applicable
• Ensures that the workers are instructed to use the right tools and correct drawings
• Ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to the required quality standards
• Promotes safety awareness and adherence to safety rules
• Other additional works directed by PM/CE from time to time
• Ensures right instructions are given to workers & investigates delays or deviations if any
• Co-ordinates daily toolbox talks
• Co-ordinates with HSE Site Officer.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of quay wall works including maintenance of marine furniture
• Knowledge of piling and marina installation
• Knowledge of rock works
• Knowledge of concrete works
• Knowledge of diving works co-ordination
• Knowledge of dredging and trenching works

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
