JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
JOB PURPOSE:
The FP&A Analyst will be essential in overseeing the budgets for the country support offices. This role includes analyzing financial data, preparing comprehensive reports, and aiding in budget preparation, all while ensuring adherence to financial regulations and policies. The Analyst will work closely with project managers and department heads to ensure accurate allocation of overhead costs and to enhance resource utilization.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Budget Preparation and Management:
• Support the preparation of the annual budget for country support offices by gathering necessary data and inputs
• Work closely with project managers and department heads to collect budgetary inputs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
• Analyze historical data and trends to contribute to accurate budget forecasts and projections
• Track actual expenses against the budget, identifying any significant variances
Cost Allocation:
• Allocate overhead costs accurately to various projects and departments, ensuring transparency and compliance with accounting standards
• Monitor and review cost allocation processes for accuracy and compliance
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
• Conduct detailed analyses of budget variances, identifying the causes of discrepancies and their potential impact on operations
• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that summarize budget performance and key financial metrics
• Provide analytical support and data to assist in strategic planning, decision-making, and forecasting initiatives
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with stakeholders to support financial planning, budget management, and resource allocation
• Serve as a point of contact for budget-related inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements:

QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
AED
7,000 to 7,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
