Our client is a boutique financial services' firm who have a successful fund placement business.

Regulated by the DFSA, our client is backed by numerous UHNWIs from across the globe and primarily focus on Private Equity, Intermediate/ Corporate Advisory and Capital & Fundraising.
Description
* The role presents an opportunity to independently lead the private placement and fund raising practice at the business.
* The candidate, reporting directly to the founders, will be solely responsible for the entire process from identifying the ideal placement targets to building the pipeline of commitments & ensuring placement, and will manage the investor relations with the firm's existing network.
* Expansion of this network is a plus, but not a pre-requisite as the business is already extremely well networked with regional investors.

REQUIREMENTS
* The individual will have 5-7 years' of stable work experience primarily (and in decreasing order of preference) in (a) fund placement / asset management sales (b) private banking (c) wealth management
* The individual will have a very relevant understanding of asset management (fund structures, domiciles, terminologies, etc.)
* The individual will be currently living within the region and able to travel across the GCC 4-6 times each year
* The individual will be able to operate independent of supervision and will be entrepreneurial
* The individual will have commendable work ethic - the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* The individual will be a fluent English speaker; Arabic and other European languages are a plus
* The individual will have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
* The individual will have the minimum of a Bachelors' Degree from a reputable university
