JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are currently seeking a young a dynamic general accountant, preferably with experience in the UAE and a degree in accountancy.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
- Working independently as an accountant reporting to the Managing Director
- Maintain complete book of accounts on QuickBooks software
- Ensure all payments are done on time
- Initiate transactions on the bank portal
- Submit VAT filling on time
- Maintain Fixed Assets register and record depreciations regularly
- Maintain Petty cash and arrange for replenishment when required
- Prepare payroll in coordination with HR and arrange salary payment on time
- Ensure payments are received from tenants on time by maintain rental income records
- Prepare and submit monthly management accounts on time
- Provide MIS reports to management as and when required and
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure that audited financials are
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a graduate with a degree in accounting from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting
- Excellent English communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
- Must be detailed oriented with error-free work
