JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
ACCOUNTS
• Complete handling of all accounts from petty cash to confirmation of audited accounts.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Maintain day to day accounts and petty cash.
• Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Comply with government legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of all aspects of the company’s accounting.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Reporting to the CEO
• Attention to Detail and deadline-oriented reporting
OFFICE MANAGER
• Organizing travel and travel itineraries.
• Writing meeting minutes as needed.
• Preparing presentations, documentation and other papers as needed.
• Managing and reviewing filing and office systems.
• Maintain the company mailing list.
• Answering calls and relaying messages.
• Managing front desk/ reception – enquiries etc.
• Sourcing and ordering stationery and office equipment.
• Creating databases & keeping these regularly updated (Directors, suppliers, crew, freelancers, clients etc.)
• Checking milkshakeme emails daily (replying to job applicants etc.)
• Checking our Linked In & Social Media sites regularly for enquiries & similar.
• Ad hoc office/administration support.
• Production and office runs as directed.
• Managing Milkshake Film Club accounts, coordination with parents, answering calls and whatsapp through the MFC phone provided.
Requirements:
- University Qualifications: BS in Accounting or Business Related Courses- Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Accounts
- Specialist knowledge: Tally (preferred but not required)
- Gender Preference: Female
- Nationality Preference: Filipino
- Language Fluency: English
- Current Location: UAE
