General Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working in partnership with a leading investment group, who are looking to hire a General Manager to oversee their manufacturing division.

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business to ensure strategic objectives are met and operations run smoothly. The role encompasses strategic planning, financial management, client acquisition, human resource management and operational oversight. The General Manager will be responsible for monitoring performance against the strategic plan and initiating corrective actions to ensure that the organizational goals are met.

The role will involve developing a client acquisition strategy across different segments whilst also optimizing production and project delivery operations to ensure efficient fulfillment of client requirements. Additionally this role will also include being involved in devising optimal material sourcing strategies and developing an internal MIS to enhance traceability and improve operations.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should have a Degree in Business or relevant field with a proven track record of working in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the market dynamics and industry specific regulations along with the ability to adapt accordingly.
