Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and versatile General Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems throughout our facility.
- Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair all MEP systems on the premises
- Perform preventive maintenance procedures and utilize test equipment effectively
- Maintain electrical systems and lighting throughout the facility
- Service and repair HVAC units and systems
- Troubleshoot and fix non-operational equipment promptly
- Conduct chemical tests for boilers, chillers, motors, and other relevant systems
- Manage inventory of parts and materials in the maintenance shop
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and local building codes and regulations
- Respond to customer requests and maintenance emergencies in a timely manner
- Document all maintenance activities and update records in the maintenance management system
Requirements:
Qualifications- Proven experience as a General Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures and use of test equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with inventory management and parts ordering
- Proficient in English language (verbal and written communication)
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Technical certifications in HVAC, electrical systems, or related fields (preferred)
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements
- Basic computer skills for using maintenance management systems
- Previous experience in a 5-star hotel (preferred)
