JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
An excellent opportunity is available for a Global Head of Transaction Banking role to join a well established bank in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for setting up and sponsoring the introduction of GTS products and it's implementation within the bank.
Responsibilities:
Developing and delivering a sales strategy that would allow the bank to secure strategic business and satisfy customer needs promoting asset and P&L growth.
Enhance the regional profitability while ensuring an appropriate risk level in conjunction with group revenue targets.
Drive the development of Transaction Banking products, and identify the opportunities in the market to generate strong revenue and profitability.
Proactively manage Relationships of existing and target clients and service their requirements with the appropriate Trade Finance and Cash management capabilities.
Identify new product opportunities to influence the development of key new service initiatives and more cost effective delivery channels.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Education: MBA or MSc. degree in business from a recognized university (undergraduate degree in Math or Engineering a plus)
Over 15 years of corporate banking experience in an international Bank or a service institution of which 5 years minimum in a senior country or regional line position
Solid and proven track record in Transaction Banking & relationship management, especially in dealing with FI, NBFI & Public Sector customers
Possess good banking product knowledge including Trade Finance, Risk Management, Custodian Services, Cash Management, loans & syndicated loans business, Global Markets etc
