Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include:

• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Assisting with updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices whilst also running reports and preparing statement of accounts for clients as and when requested.
• Assisting with updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations.
• Assisting in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assisting with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned.
• Updating financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports.
• Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Assisting with other accounting projects.
• Assisting with handling petty cash and its requirements as a backup to other team members.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include experience from graduate level to 1-2 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting.
