We are seeking a talented Graduate Stakeholder Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us shape the future of transportation and infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.?
As a Graduate Stakeholder Engineer you will play a vital role in facilitating effective communication and collaboration between the project team and various stakeholders, ensuring the successful planning and execution of infrastructure and transportation projects. You will engage with government agencies, local communities, and other relevant parties to gather input, address concerns, and ensure project alignment with regulatory and social requirements.?
Your new role, what's involved?
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and regulatory bodies.
• Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and consultations to gather input, address concerns, and provide project updates.
• Act as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and information exchange.
Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay up-to-date with local regulations and permit requirements related to infrastructure and transportation projects.
• Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure project compliance and necessary approvals are obtained.
Community Relations:
• Develop and implement community outreach strategies to engage with local residents and businesses affected by the project.
• Address community concerns and act as a point of contact for inquiries and feedback.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of stakeholder interactions, feedback, and project-related documentation.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing project progress and stakeholder engagement activities.
Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks related to stakeholder concerns and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with the project team.
• Monitor and assess the impact of stakeholder issues on project timelines and budgets.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met while considering stakeholder interests.
REQUIREMENTS
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and communities.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Emirati national.
