WSP are looking for a graduate trainee to join the Commercial team where you will gain knowledge and expertise in the Commercial functions of Commercial Operational, Commercial Finance, and Legal and Working Capital.
The key objectives of the role will be to;
• Learn the basic fundamentals of each team and how they interact with the other teams within Commercial and the wider business
• Observe and be offered to witness first hand what is done on a day to day basis within each team
• Complete discreet tasks set to facilitate my learning and understanding
• Provide feedback to the team where I can see a different or improved way of working
How will you know when you are successful in this role?
• You will understand the primary role of each of the functions of the Commercial team
• You will appreciate some of the terminology used by each of the Commercial teams
• You can understand the processes that are followed and the reasons why they are done
• You can support a Project Director or Project Manager with their commercial query
REQUIREMENTS
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, such as Business Studies, Accountancy, Finance or Law
• Able to work independently to develop the desired solutions
• Proficient in all Microsoft packages
• Have a good command of spoken and written English
