JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is working with an established independent premium all day dining concept. Due to extensive expansion plans, they are looking to hire a Head Chef to oversee their new flagship location. This location in Dubai will be the place to go, warm and inviting, a place to enjoy a meal with friends or family, or linger the afternoon away over high quality coffee and bites in the lounge.
The Head Chef will be responsible for all things food and beverage, the full-service all-day dining restaurant menu, private events menus, drive thru/grab and go as well as coffee accompanying bites. You will work with the Operations Manager and owner to launch and constantly evolve the menus, ensure consistently precise execution to the highest quality. The brand direction will see you support with internationally influenced dishes across all areas. This role will also require you to oversee inventory, cost and quality control.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, the candidate should be an experienced Head Chef who has a proven track record overseeing a successful culinary destination who is ready to take on a larger location. A strong experienced Sous Chef with experience managing a large kitchen may also be considered to take the next step. Experience in the middle east is preferred but not essential for a superstar candidate.
The ideal candidate will be the perfect combination of a strong hands-on chef, a true leader and a charismatic professional who is always striving to go above and beyond for the customers culinary experience. Strong leadership and English communication skills are essential for this role, for managing a diverse team.
