JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Opportunity for Head of Architecture and Placemaking with leading consultancy based in Dubai.

Responsibilities
• Work with other studio leads and report to Director
• Business development objectives for the office.
• Spearhead business development efforts, dedicating 50% of time to fostering relationships and identifying project opportunities.
• Ensure a pervasive design culture within the office, allocating 50% of time to work with Studio Leaders to maintain design excellence across all projects.
• Support the Director in executing the Middle East strategy, including budget administration, resource management, recruitment, and office operations.

REQUIREMENTS

Suitable candidates will have the following:
• Proficient in relationship building and business development.
• Demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, and organizational prowess.
• Possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Inspires and motivates team members.
• Portfolio background in large scale mixed use, masterplanning developments
• Attainment of office's business development objectives.
• Recognized as an influential leader and contributor to the design culture

Qualifications:
• Holds a professional degree from an accredited institution.
• Degree in Architecture, Planning or Equivalent
• Demonstrates a successful track record of managing organizations of similar complexity.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and foster team cohesion.
• Background working in the Middle East region.
