As the Head of Automation and Digital Transformation, you will drive end-to-end digital transformation and automation initiatives across the client's upstream and downstream operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a proven track record in deploying information and operational technology in large organisations

Description
* Lead the creation and implementation of a visionary "Operations of the Future" program, aiming to position the client as a pioneering leader in digital transformation within the industry
* Develop and execute strategies for leveraging the latest industry technologies, including IoT devices, AI/ML, VR/AR, automated machinery and cloud capabilities.
* Build partnerships and commercial relationships with OEMs and technology vendors to support the implementation of digital transformation initiatives
* Oversee budget planning, monitoring and execution to optimise resource allocation and achieving organisational objectives
* Design and build the client's remote operations and control centre

REQUIREMENTS
* A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or other relevant fields. Masters highly preferred
* Minimum of 15 years experience in end-to-end digital transformation and automation across the energy and natural resources value chain
* Proven track record of successfully deploying information and operational technology in large organisations
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage culturally diverse teams in complex project environments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
* Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
* Willingness to travel internationally as required
