JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
- Participating in the development and implementation of the annual cultural program for the Arabic Poetry Foundation.
- Writing and editing the news related to the Arabic Poetry Foundation, overseeing their publication, and monitoring their impact in the media and social media platforms.
- Building and maintaining the content of the website and media platforms of the Arabic Poetry Foundation in accordance with the annual program and publishing plan, continuously developing them, and suggesting topics and publication schedules.
- Engaging with media and cultural institutions both domestically and internationally, coordinating cultural programs, events, invitations, and cultural partnerships.
- Contributing to the design of the publishing and release plan, aligning with the strategic objectives of the Arabic Poetry Foundation, and identifying relevant and new topics that serve its goals.
- Designing a media and program plan to enhance awareness, dissemination, and outreach to individuals inside and outside the country.
- Monitoring the performance of events and cultural programs organized or participated in by the Arabic Poetry Foundation, assessing their impact, and providing continuous improvement.
- Selecting writers, poets, researchers, critics, and translators to contract with for publications based on the annual publishing plan, in line with the directions and approvals of the management.
- Monitoring the publishing and release processes, including signing contracts with authors before, during, and after the publication of their works.
- Monitoring the sales, promotion, and distribution of publications through appropriate channels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies, Event Management, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cultural affairs, event planning, publishing, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing cultural publications and events.
