JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
One of our clients a leading Architectural & Engineering practice has an urgent requirement for a Head of Design/Design Director in their Dubai Office to deliver a variety of projects across the region. Candidates from an Architectural background are preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Leading the design studio (Architects and Structural Engineers)
* Resource Planning
* Ensuring projects are submitted on time as per the program
* Client management and ensuring Client satisfaction
* Project and design management
* Implement and Manage QA/QC processes
* Ensuring projects are profitable
* Providing technical guidance to the architectural team
* Supporting in business development
* Assessing performance of the team
* Working closely with Management on improvement implementation processes
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, from a reputable university.
* At least 18 -20 years post graduate experience including 5 years in the GCC.
* Have managed multi-discipline teams to deliver large hospitality, residential and mixed use projects.
* Excellent client facing skills to manage relationships and promote business development.
