JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Quest is working with one of the largest retail company in Dubai, UAE and they are looking for a dynamic Head of Design (Homeware). This is a great opportunity for a trend conscious, established leader looking for their next career growth.
As the Head of Design (Homeware), you must perform the following duties:
- Closely work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals;
- Ensure collaboration across categories and materials;
- Lead and manage the design process for each development including product sample review and sign-off;
- Conduct competitor visits and analysis in order to understand market trends and determine potential risks/opportunities.
- Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organisation and that advance our brand and proposition strategy;
- Recruit and manage design support, and work alongside existing team to direct the development of parallel categories.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 10 years’ homeware designing experience;
- Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects;
- Passionate, commercial and driven individual;
- Commercial acumen and a passion for design and product development;
