JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are representing a large blue chip international EPC organisation that has extensive projects in the Oil and Gas sector globally. Due to continuous success and successful award of new projects my client seek a Head of Engineering to be based in the UAE and to work within the international team liaising between Engineering houses and operations in various locations.
Responsibilities include:
Personnel responsibility for Project Engineering Managers within the location.
Working with the discipline team managers create an effective bridge between operations and engineering resources.
Offer technical engineering support into projects, tenders, feeds and concept studies, supporting all engineering activities at location from a multidisciplinary perspective.
Interface with client and vendors as needed in a senior capacity.
Contribute with expertise to projects from concept phase through execution to commissioning.
Contribute in improving our working processes and working environment.
REQUIREMENTS
To be of the correct calibre for our client, candidates should be able to demonstrate the following criteria: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with over 20 years experience in executing Projects with a value of $650M EPC Oil and Gas projects in the Gulf region.
