JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Company

Our client is a truly global player in their field. Due to significant growth our client is looking to recruit a Head of Finance who will be responsible for the North America, Spain and UAE region.

The Role

Reporting directly into the Chief Financial Officer your will be responsible to manage and develop the North America, Spain and UAE in-house finance teams, to provide strong commercial and analytical support to the local management teams, and to act as a bridge between the reporting requirements for the Group central finance team in the UK.

* Management and development of the finance functions for USA, Spain and Dubai, developing strong commercial partnerships with local management and the central finance team.
* Improve and align systems, reporting, policy, process and controls across both finance teams.
* Provide commercial finance support to the Country Manager and local management team, including P&L and customer KPI trends, pricing analysis and investment ROI.
* Support the preparation and review of weekly cash forecasts and identify opportunities to improve cash flow and working capital management.
* Review and analysis of monthly management accounts and preparation of the Group reporting pack.
* Manage and coordinate local audit and compliance matters.
* Lead the annual budgeting cycle and quarterly re-forecasts.
* Work closely with the central finance team in London on any group audit or reporting requirements.
* Oversee the financial integration of future acquisitions.

Requirements:
The Candidate

* Recognised professional accountancy qualification and senior level experience within a commercial, high growth, data focused environment.
* Strong leadership, planning and communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish.
* Ability to challenge and influence in a constructive manner.
* Commercial - can demonstrate a track record of supporting management teams to drive performance improvement and profit growth.
* Systems and data literate - experience in management and analysis of large volumes of data, and with the ability to identify key trends and opportunities.
* Solutions focused with track record of driving process improvement.
* Hands on, analytical and pragmatic approach with strong focus on detail.
* Strong forecasting and analysis skills.
* Confidence, maturity and credibility at all levels of management.
* Positive, can-do attitude.
