JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Charterhouse is working with a government organisation. Our client is looking to hire a Head of IT to oversee the delivery of their IT services and the management of all of their IT systems, IT security and networking infrastructure.
As Head of IT, you will have several areas of responsibility across the organisation. Your key accountability will be overseeing the IT infrastructure and the design and review of the architecture. You will also be responsible for monitoring system performance and ensuring a secure IT environment across the business. Additionally, you will require previous experience of managing IT providers / vendors as there are a large number of IT projects for which you will require strong project management skills.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate should have a Masters in a related IT subject and be project management certified. You should have a minimum of 12 years management experience coupled with a proven track record of success in a senior managerial role. It is essential you can demonstrate experience of effectively managing and leading projects simultaneously.
