You will oversee all technology operations within the UAE entity, ensuring alignment with the group's overall IT strategy while driving local transformation initiatives. The role combines strategic planning, governance, and hands on leadership of infrastructure, applications, and digital banking delivery.

Description
* Lead the design and execution of the IT strategy in alignment with global standards and business priorities
* Oversee all technology domains including infrastructure, applications, digital channels, information security, and IT operations
* Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships to ensure cost efficient, compliant service delivery
* Drive governance frameworks across IT risk management, DR, cybersecurity, and audit compliance
* Oversee local regulatory technology requirements (e.g., Central Bank, data residency, DR compliance)
* Partner with business leaders to identify and deliver technology initiatives that enable growth, efficiency, and customer experience
* Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary IT team, fostering accountability, innovation, and service excellence
* Represent the UAE entity in group-level technology councils, steering committees, and CIO forums
Job Offer
This is a key leadership role within a growing IT division, with direct impact on how the bank runs its mission critical systems.
Requirements:
* Minimum 20 years of total IT experience, with at least 3+ years as Head of IT / CIO for a GCC based bank.* Proven experience leading IT functions within the GCC banking sector (UAE experience strongly preferred)
* Strong understanding of technology strategy, governance, risk, and operations within a regulated financial environment
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendors, and multi domain teams across infrastructure, applications, and digital
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at C-level across regional and group functions
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
