JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As the Head of IT Project Management and Business Partnerships, you will play a key role in identifying and implementing solutions and applications that meet the needs of the entity. You will provide strategic guidance, bringing together all stakeholders to deliver on key objectives on time and in budget

A prestigious public sector entity with a mandate to deliver prosperity for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with an exciting new project to deliver an innovative shared service platform

Description

* Define the project management processes and frameworks based on international best practices to manage the full project life cycle through planning, design and implementation
* Own the project approach to risk management and mitigation based on the business applications in use, highlighting the most appropriate mechanism to escalate concerns to decision makers
* Full responsibility for the development and presentation of all project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress status reports
* Serve as a point of contact between business partners, vendors, end users and other key stakeholders to ensure specific business needs are built into the technology and applications
* Lead the successful implementation of projects by managing performance, individual objective setting and motivating the staff team

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology alongside PMP equivalent
* Minimum of 8 years in IT project management, owning whole project life cycle from beginning to end with up to 4 years leading project staff
* Experienced delivering complex technology business application projects in the public sector
* Up to date with the latest technology trends with excellent communication skills to promote the benefits of the applications you are implementing
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, incorporating the needs of all major internal departments as well as key external vendors, government entities and regulators
