Employment: Full Time

• To provide leadership in the management and support of the staff under their care
• To coordinate special programmes and activities as designated by the principal/vice principal
• To contribute to the review and development of the curriculum and school policies and implement them as required.
• To act as the “critical peer “in the appraisal process for the staff under their care.
• To coordinate assessments review meetings along with the SLT’s.
• To act as a role model for teachers, to model teaching strategies that contributes to a more interactive class environment.
• To contribute to the training of the professional developmental needs of the staff under them
• To ensure that children and young people play a meaningful and active role in learning that can truly reflect their interests, needs and enthusiasms.
• To develop knowledge, understanding and enthusiasm though innovative teaching and learning as a key to raising achievement, aspiration and motivation in the students.
• To self-evaluate the effectiveness of his/her teaching
• To assist Vice Principal in planning, monitoring and executing all the academic activities
• To be a part of teacher selection through lesson observation.
• To oversee the planning, implementation and success of student related activities, competitions and celebrations; PTM.
• To coordinate with the SLT team for additional training based on teaching and learning observations for their team.
• To act as a facilitator in school, able to translate the school’s vision for creative learning into practical implementation and plan/implement training programmes.
• To strengthen interpersonal relationship among teachers’ for the better output.
• Act as liaison between parents, coaches, students, administrators and teachers.
• To inform the Principal / VP about the staffing needs / resources and development of the school.
• To propose new ideas/plans to SLT for approval.
• To plan the PTM’s, open house and other engagement programs with parents.
• To aid in the admission process by preparing the papers, conducting/evaluating the prospective applicant. - VP
• To plan/implement day to day substitution duty.
• To plan time frame for distribution of the report card etc.
• To review and follow-up additional help plan for the slow learners / students with behavioural problem with the teachers in coordination with Special Educators and Counsellors.
• To be proactive in various initiatives for individual’s professional and personal development.
• To adhere to school’s code of conduct and policies (revised from time to time)

AED 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

• Graduate/Post Graduate from any of the recognized universities. (Regular)
• B.Ed (regular) from any of the recognized universities. –mandatory requirement
• CACHE -5 , ECCE, Dip in Montessori, Dip in ECCE or Equivalent (preferable)
• Minimum 3 years’ -experience in the Teaching and Minimum 3 years in Leadership role.
• Local Experienced candidates will be preferred. (having DSIB Inspection Experience)
• ICSE / CBSE experience is preferred.
• Having KHDA/SPEA/ADEK approval in the same position is required.
