JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Mission:

• As Head of Paid Media, you will be tasked with building RBBi’s Paid Media offering.
• You have overall responsibility for developing our proposition with PPC, Paid Social and Display.
• You will initially lead a small team with the ultimate aim of raising our awareness in the market, building market share and developing and growing the team and client base.

• This role is best suited to someone highly adaptable – able to work with a multitude of different businesses, cultures and personalities, and tailor their approach accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS

Your objectives:

• Working to really understand the GCC market and the nature of businesses operating within it – including key challenges, opportunities, structure and objectives
• Developing new ways of positioning digital media/our USPs to businesses in the market which resonates and inspires prospective partners
• Leading media related pitches, and working with peers across other areas of expertise to develop solution-driven proposals
• Helping our partners achieve success through their digital media activity – across both performance and branding related campaigns and strategies
• Ensuring strong relationships are developed and maintained with our clients
• Leading a small team of Paid Media professionals – working with key senior members of the team to ensure that they are are all providing best in class service and results for our clients. Ensuring everyone in the team has a clear development plan, regular objectives and training to allow for continual growth and innovation
• Working with the Head of Business Development to maintain a strong close rate on media related leads for the business
• Growing awareness of RBBi’s paid media offering in the market (developing blog posts, working with our Marketing Head with PR and other marketable assets) with the ultimate aim of increasing leads for the business.

What you’ll need:

Skills:

• You will have solid experience in a Paid Media role – across PPC, Paid Social & Display advertising.
• Knowledge and understanding across the entire digital ecosystem is a must – to the extent that you could work all elements into a full digital strategy and help develop rounded digital solutions for our clients
• Strong communication skills – able to understand and adapt your communications across our clients and team members in a very international environment
• A real entrepreneurial spirit – with a passion to rise to new challenges, adapt quickly and work in a fast paced environment where you will have real say into how things are done and an opportunity to contribute ideas at all levels

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in a managerial or leadership role within an agency environment is essential
• Experience leading a paid media team
• Solid experience in business development – including devising and developing strategies and proposals and pitching

Other requirements of this role:

• Experience in developing a department, service and/or proposition
• Experience of managing a P&L or other financial aspects of a business
• A bachelors degree or above in Media or a related field is desirable
