JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Position Title: Head Steward
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: up to 3.5K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
About the Client:
An all day and high-end casual dining in the heart of Dubai serving their specialty of Mediterranean cuisine.
Job Description:
• Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operation and costs
• Ensure Back of House areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completed
• Direct and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient while reinforcing proper use of all dish room machinery
• Establish minimum and maximum operating per stocks and supplies and requisition
• Assist Chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• Male, 40 years and below
• High school diploma or relevant
• At least 2 years of experience in the same role from mid to high-end casual dining restaurant
• Knowledgeable of food health and safety regulations
