JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Join a leading rental and sales company of aerial work platforms and take your skills to new heights! As a Senior AWP Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
• Safety First: Uphold a clean and safe work environment, adhering to stringent safety protocols.
• Customer Champion: Foster positive relationships by providing professional and courteous service to clients.
• Multifaceted Master: Maintain and repair various AWP equipment, encompassing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Calibration & Diagnostics: Utilize testing and measuring instruments to diagnose, calibrate, and optimize JLG, Genie, Teupen, MEC, Snorkel & Skyjack machines.
• Keen Eye & Skilled Hands: Identify part imperfections, lubricate components, repair/replace defective parts, and operate equipment efficiently.
• Detailed Documentation: Issue precise "Field Service Reports" and "Service work orders" documenting tasks, parts, labor, and time.
• Vehicle Maintenance Expert: Maintain your service vehicle in a clean and professional condition.
• Customer Support Hero: Operate equipment and provide demonstrations to clients as needed.
• Systems Savvy: Understand the principles of various AWP systems and components.
• Rigorous Inspections: Conduct thorough pre- and post-operation inspections adhering to TMW guidelines.
• On-Site & Workshop Efficiency: Perform basic repairs and maintenance at customer sites and the workshop, ensuring optimal performance.
• Proficiency with Tools: Utilize testing and adjustment tools effectively for repairs and servicing.
• Comprehensive Care: Strip, clean, and inspect equipment components, identifying and replacing faulty parts to restore functionality.
• Safety Audits & Maintenance: Conduct regular safety, operation, and maintenance inspections across various sites.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an AWP Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair various AWP equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and forklift certification preferred.
