JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
About the Client:
A Dubai based, dynamic trading firm specializing in the global trade of petroleum, chemicals, and agricultural products.
- Develop and implement hedging strategies to manage and mitigate financial risks associated with market fluctuations
- Analyze market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities
- Monitor and adjust hedging positions to ensure optimal risk management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors while providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on hedging strategies and risk management.
Requirements:
- Open to Asian and African nationalities- 28 to 42 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hedging, risk management, or a related field as Hedging Officer/Exec/Specialist
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Python, R)
- Immediate joiners will be prioritized.
