Job purpose
We are looking for a Stock & Packaging Assistant to support our Stock, Visual Merchandising, and Commercial teams in the movement, unpacking, wrapping, and general handling of merchandise and fixtures. The role primarily involves working with furniture and large items, ensuring proper handling and safe packaging to maintain product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Wrap sold items—mainly furniture—and hand them over to the delivery team
- Unpack, position, and organize furniture and other large products on the shop floor
- Assist the Visual Merchandising team with the physical movement of merchandise
- Support the Stock Assistant team when required or in their absence
- Carry out ad hoc tasks in the store as instructed by the Store Supervisor or Manager
Job requirements
Education & certifications
- High school level education
Experience
- Prior experience in packaging and handling large items with care to prevent damage
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and maneuvering heavy items
