The Hostess for an immersive dining experience is not just a greeter but a storyteller, performer, and guide. With a theatrical background and an innate flair for engaging audiences, she will embody a character that draws guests into a magical, otherworldly dining adventure. As the first face they see and the narrator of their journey, she will create an atmosphere of wonder and excitement, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.

Key responsibilities:

Immersive Guest Engagement:
• Greet guests in character, introducing them to the world they are about to enter with charm and flair.
• Stay in character throughout the event, ensuring all interactions align with the immersive storyline.
• Escort guests through the themed environment, weaving elements of the narrative into their journey from arrival to seating.
• Anticipate and accommodate guest preferences while maintaining the illusion of the world being portrayed.

Theatrical Hosting s Performance:
• Deliver scripted or semi-improvised lines as part of the immersive storyline.
• Work closely with performers and the creative team to integrate your role seamlessly into the event’s overarching narrative.
• Add dramatic, comedic, or interactive elements to your performance to captivate guests and heighten their enjoyment.
• Collaborate in pre-event rehearsals to refine character portrayal and event flow.

Atmosphere Setting:
• Assist in the preparation of the environment, ensuring all props, decor, and thematic elements are in place and contribute to the narrative.
• Act as a bridge between the audience and the performers, helping guests feel comfortable and fully immersed in the experience.
• Use body language, tone, and interaction to enhance the ambiance and elevate the magic of the event.

Guest Care with Flair:
• Handle special requests or concerns in character, blending problem-solving with immersive storytelling.
• Guide guests through transitions in the experience, such as courses of the meal or interactive segments, ensuring smooth continuity.
• Ensure guests leave with a lasting impression, maintaining energy and enthusiasm until their departure.

Collaboration with Event Teams:
• Work with performers, chefs, servers, and technical teams to ensure the event flows seamlessly from start to finish.
• Provide feedback post-event to improve the immersive elements and storytelling aspects of the experience.

Requirements:
Required Skills:
• Exceptional acting, storytelling, or improvisational abilities with experience in theater, performance, or entertainment.
• Charismatic and engaging personality capable of captivating audiences of all sizes and backgrounds.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally and creatively.
• Attention to detail to maintain consistency in character and theme.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to dynamic situations while staying in character.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in performing arts, theater, or live entertainment.
• Experience in immersive or themed dining environments.
• Multilingual abilities to cater to an international audience.
• Familiarity with event management or hospitality operations is a plus.
