JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As the HR Manager you will be responsible for a total of 450 employees and be involved in a full 360 HR scope from day to day operations and team management to strategic implementation and working very closely with stakeholders.

Client Details

The client works with in the transportation services industry and is a 90% blue collar workforce, this role is a huge scope opportunity for a HR Manager who wants to grow with an expanding business.

Description

The Key responsibilities will include:

• Implementing the HR policy's and procedures, assisting with the implementation of a HR System and building the framework of HR.
• Talent Acquisition and Retention: Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and on boarding top talent. Develop retention strategies to ensure employee engagement and longevity.
• HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and HRIS management. Streamline processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Managing the HR function with a total of 2 direct reports, reporting into the board
• Compensation and Benefits: Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR budget, including forecasting and monitoring expenditures.
• Leadership and Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing HR team. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members.

REQUIREMENTS

The Successful candidate will have/be:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
