HR Officer - Onboarding

Employment: Full Time

We are looking to hire an Onboarding Specialist who will be responsible for developing and implementing effective onboarding processes, conducting orientation sessions, and providing ongoing support to new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the company. This role is for our client based in Dubai, who are one of the largest companies in the region.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6 months and is renewable based on performance. The role sits within the Onboarding Department and reports directly to the Onboarding Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the team to design and continuously improve the onboarding process.
• Create and maintain onboarding materials, checklists, and resources.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new employees, providing an overview of company policies, culture, and benefits.
• Assist new hires in completing required documentation.
• Ensure all required forms, documents, and training records are accurately maintained and up to date.
• Stay informed about UAE labor law and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing their questions and concerns throughout their onboarding journey.
• Provide information on company policies, procedures, and available resources.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including IT setup, workspace preparation, and equipment provisioning.


Knowledge, skills & experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven 2-5 years of experience in onboarding, HR, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and UAE labor law.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in any HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
